I’ve seen how stress and trauma can live in the body long before we have words for them. That understanding guides my work: therapy isn’t about fixing you — it’s about creating space where your nervous system can rest, heal, and grow at its own pace.
My approach blends body-based practices (Somatic Experiencing), parts work (Internal Family Systems), and a relationship and attachment focus. In simple terms, I help people understand how stress, family history, and relationships show up in the body — and how to shift those patterns.
Clients describe me as warm, gently direct, and metaphor-friendly. You might hear me compare nervous system work to adjusting a dimmer switch instead of flipping a light on or off. I use humor and simple images to make complex ideas feel human and doable.
I especially enjoy working with BIPOC clients, Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing communities, couples, and families. My therapy room is a space where culture, identity, and lived experience are not only welcomed, but honored.
If you’re looking for a space to slow down, reconnect with your body, and build relationships that feel more authentic and supportive, I’d love to connect with you.
I meet clients with curiosity first, listening for what your body, history, and relationships are already telling us. My work blends Somatic Experiencing, parts work, and an attachment lens, always adapted to your pace. Together, we create a space that feels steady enough for your nervous system to soften, yet flexible enough to try new ways of thinking, feeling, and relating. Therapy isn’t about perfect answers; it’s about partnering with you to tap the mind–body connection, build practical tools, and grow the change that feels most authentic to your life.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Deaf Studies with a minor in Psychology from California State University, Northridge (CSUN), and my Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I am currently pursuing a PsyD in Couples and Family Therapy at Alliant International University.

I use Somatic Experiencing (SE), Internal Family Systems (IFS/parts work), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), all within an attachment-aware and culturally responsive lens. Each method offers a different pathway to healing, and together they allow us to shape care around your specific needs. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, or relationship stress, we’ll move beyond talk alone — engaging both mind and body to support change that lasts and feels genuinely yours.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a collaborative, goal-oriented therapy that helps individuals identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. By challenging and reframing negative thoughts, individuals can improve their emotional well-being. CBT also involves behavioral techniques to confront maladaptive behaviors.
Somatic Experiencing is a body-based approach that helps you tune into your body's sensations to heal emotional trauma. It's all about feeling and releasing stored stress and tension through physical sensations. By focusing on what your body tells you, you can process past experiences and relieve emotional pain. It's like therapy for your body!
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a client-oriented and collaborative approach that helps individuals develop relationships with different aspects of their personality (parts). This allows individuals to understand themselves more and operate their system to get to a place where different parts respond to triggers rather than react.
Schedule a free 15-minute consult. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and whether my approach feels supportive. If it doesn’t, I’m happy to connect you with resources or colleagues who might be a better fit.
